Agencies sit in the middle of the economy and charge for matching, access, expertise, or risk reduction. Some sell systems and outcomes. Some sell people. Some sell trust. Every business buys from several of them, and nobody had mapped the whole layer. So we did.

AllTheAgencies covers 112 agency categories across 13 groups: what each type does, how it makes money, what separates a good one from a bad one, and how the category is changing. Counts are honest ranges with their sources stated, per our methodology.

What is here now, and what is coming

Today, every category has a full explainer, and the comparison series covers the economics across categories. Full company directories publish next, category by category, in the order people ask for them. If you need listings for a specific category, request it and you will get an email the day it goes live.
